How many years of college does it take in order to own a business?

Business degreeI am from India, and here, a Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA), like the UK, takes three years, just as its non-professional equivalent Bachelors of Commerce (BCom). In the US, however, may take 4 years.An MBA in India takes 2 yr. while in the UK, IT TAKES 1 YR.

None- There are several small business that have started without the beneifit on the owner taking college courses. Think small maintenance business, or builders, electricians (tradesman). Also retail, does not necessarily need a college education- but knowledge of $$ and sales will help.

The answer depends on the type of degree you're looking for. An associates degree in business generally takes 2 years and a bachelors degree will take 4. Many big cities have business or trade schools that will train you in specific aspects of business and they may only take months but you may not get the job you want with one of those. You may be able to get your degree if fewer than 4 years by taking more classes each semester and attending school year round.
