What was Philippines named before it was Philippines?

At first, Chinese traders used to call it "MAI"(ma-ee). When Ferdinand Magellan discovered it, he called it archipelago of St. Lazarus/archipelago of St. Lazaro because on the day he first stepped in the Philippines, it was St. Lazarus' feast day. After several years of conquering the Philippines, he named it Philippines to honor king Philip II of Spain. Filipinas, on the other hand, is the Tagalog/Filipino translation of the English word Philippines. It was recognized and declared as Philippines(feely-phins) by the Americans and Spaniards as well.(the Americans followed after the Spanish occupation in the Philippines for 333 years)
