How many years of college does it take to become a lawyer?
Normally seven years combined college and law school.
You will need a 4-year bachelors degree in almost any subject,
and an adequate LSAT score for admission to law school, which is
generally 3 years to earn a Juris Doctor (JD). You also must pass
the Bar exam in the state in which you want to practice, in order
to actually work as a lawyer.
