Two non-consecutive terms

Grover Cleveland was the only President to be elected to two non-consecutive terms as President. In 1884 Grover Cleveland was elected as the 22nd President of the United States and served from March 4, 1885 to March 4, 1889. In 1888 he was defeated by the 23rd President of the United States Benjamin Harrison. He won the election in 1892 to become the 24th President of the United States from March 4, 1893 to March 4, 1897.

He was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States from March 4, 1885 to March 4, 1889 and also from March 4, 1893 to March 4, 1897. He was elected in November of 1884 and again in November of. 1992. He was defeated by Benjamin Harrison in the election of 1888 even though he won the popular vote.
