How many watts used in a 19 inch lcd monitor?
Probably that varies from one manufacturer to another; it should be somewhere in the range of 50-100 watts. There should be a sticker on the back of your monitor that tells the electrical specifications, including how much watts it uses. If the sticker doesn't mention watts, it should mention volts and amperes. In this case, if you multiply volts x amperes, you get watts.

How much electricity does a regular tv use?
'Electricity' is not a quantity, so you cannot ask 'how much'! What you should be asking is, "What is the power rating of a regular television?" The answer is straightforward. All appliances, including television sets, have a nameplate attached -check out that nameplate, and it will specify the power rating. The power rating depends on the size of screen and whether it is CRT or LCD. A small 19" LCD uses 40 watts, a 42" will draw 100 watts, or about the same as an incandescent light bulb

What wattage does a 32 inch lcd use?
The only way to know for sure what power a television consumes is to check the manual. As a guide, older LCD televisions would use up to 150 Watts or so. In 2010, a typical power consumption level is under 100 Watts for a new television. LCD televisions using LED backlighting rather than fluorescent will use slightly less power.

Why should I switch from using my normal CRT screen to an LCD screen?
LCD monitors are aesthetically very pleasing to the eye being slim and stylish. There is no comparison with the CRT here. LCD monitors are extremely economical when it comes to power consumption. Their consumption is in the region of 25 -50 watts compared to CRT which consume like 60-80 watts LCD Monitors win the image brightness battle hands down in this department. They offer almost twice the brightness compared to the CRT monitor.
