A purebred English bull dog puppy from a reputable breeder (i.e. not a puppy mill), where the breeder has other dogs who have won AKC titles, and where the breeder will guarantee their bull dogs against the many health problems that are common to bull dogs, and where puppies are kitchen-raised and not raised outdoors or in kennels, is worth $1200-$2000. A bull dog priced less than this should raise a red flag for you.
Bull dogs are very prone to lots of health problems (more than other breeds) if they have been bred poorly, so it is very important with this breed that you do lots of research and make sure you are buying well-bred dogs from a responsible, reputable breeder.

∙ 14y agoIt really depends on the dog. If the dog is show quality then they can still fetch $1,000-2,000 but if they are not, you can expect them to go for considerably less. Also, a factor that would play a role in how much the dog is worth would be if she is a female and capable of breeding- although you should never sell an adult dog to a home where they would be subject to breeding and/or vulnerable to being a breeder for a puppymill. Lastly, has the dog developed any behavioral problems? If so, then you can really only expect about $500-$800 for the dog.

The correct spelling is "Bullmastiff". The Bullmastiff was originally made up of (sometime in the 1800's) of 60% Mastiff & 40% Bulldog (sometimes called the English Bulldog) in England. It was recognized as a breed here in the United States around 1940 something, someone correct me if I am wrong as to the year, as my memory is old now, lol They only thing they have in common would be the English Bulldog as it is behind both of these breeds. The Bullmastiff is a much older breed than the American Bulldog.
