They don't save any overall. The extra electronics and equipment cost in terms of our environment. They do save some fuel though compared to cars of similar size. Some by as much as 10%. City driving is their best savings area.
trees breathe out oxygen we breathe out carbon dioxide and trees breathe in carbon dioxide SAVE THE RAINFORESTS OR WE'LL DIE!!
because they make carbon dioxide into oxyegen

A carbon tax will help to slow carbon dioxide emissions, as polluting industries will clean up their factories to avoid paying the tax. Industries that are green and sustainable are helping to save the world.
A typical modern wind turbine has a capacity of two megawatts (MW) and is expected to save emissions of over 1,880 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) in an average year.
It depends on how much you drive if you drive alot. Then you will save alot, compared to a gas car. Hybrids are much small so if you got into a crash you could easily die.

Wood as in trees actually stores up carbon and carbon dioxide so prevents it from being in the atmosphere and adding to the greenhouse effect.
It is not the carbon dioxide (CO2) that you are saving, it is that you are not producing as much carbon dioxide or waste. It will depend on which appliance you unplug (computer, blender, radio, ect.) and for how long, but it can add up to a few tons over the course of your life time. And if many people do so, that is millions of tons of poulltion that never have to happen or go into our environment.
Recycling can help the Earth in many ways. If you recycle paper, you save trees, which in turn reduces the amount of carbon dioxide in Earth's atmosphere and reduce global warming. Trees photosynthesise, where they take in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and give out oxygen. Carbon dioxide is the main reason for global warming as it traps the Sun's heat in Earth's atmosphere. If you recycle aluminum, you save energy, as it takes much less energy to melt cans into fresh aluminum. Most energy comes from electricity produced by burning coal, so you cut down on carbon dioxide. The same with glass.
