We have the ability to destroy the world with one nuclear weapon. An entire nuclear war could destroy the entire solar system if we had the opportunity to.
It can.
Greater damage from blast and thermal radiation.
There has never been a Nuclear War
A nuclear or biological assault could initialize a nuclear war.
Depends on how heavy the war head is and where its detonated (how high/on the ground etc). The actual blast of a 25 megaton war head would be around 7 miles. Theres also the thermal radiation, nuclear fallout and other things to consider in terms of long term damage
nuclear bomb
You can not be really very sure how many are left, because when there is war, they will just make more atom bombs if they need some more.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Completely wrong. If the U.S. and Russia fought a nuclear war, the war would be over in a couple of hours at most and it takes months to manufacture a nuclear weapon. Also the war damage to the nuclear weapons production system would take years to repair before any manufacturing could begin again. There would be no chance to make any more.If the nuclear war was fought by other countries, perhaps they could make more but all the other countries nuclear weapons put together are less than 1/4 of those that either the U.S. or Russia have.
no
It can.
War + Nuclear bomb
At the heart of the Cold War and the development of nuclear weapons lay the concept of "Mutually Assured Destruction, fittingly shortened to MAD.The meaning of this was that both sides had so much weaponry that it was impossible to knock the enemy out completely with the first blow. And if you didn't manage that, the revenge would damage your countrybeyond what was considered acceptable. So it was called a "cold" war, because while it never broke out into a real war, both sides kept preparing and posing as if it MIGHT happen.

In a way yes because they wanted to make sure they won and became a superpower and they were making nuclear weapons to prepare for nuclear war which made the US begin to make preparations for nuclear war..however, I'm sure neither one wanted to be in a war..
Greater damage from blast and thermal radiation.
Yes. Everyone is very scared of the nuclear war, once the nuclear war have broken out no one will survive. Hope that the nuclear war will not happen.
