Kind of a broad question. It depends on where in the world the land is located.

If you are talking about The Americas and the Louisiana Purchase it was approximately three cents per acre. Possibly a little less.

How much land per acre cost depends on what, where, and when. Land in the 1600's cost much less than land now, and land with less valuable resources has always cost less in general.
