well at pet smart hamsters can usually cost about $15.00 and up but if you have a membership card (pet perks card) you could get the hamsters for $12.00 or less but guinea pigs cost like $20.00 and up i think but I'm not so sure. and at Peco Ithink they were around the same as in Pet Smart.

At Petco they cost $2-10 US, I got a dwarf hamster and it cost $2.99.

A syrian hamster costs about £9 and a dwarf hamster costs about £8.50 but if you get a dwarf hamster then you should get two because they are more happy together.

i dont think petco specifies what kind of hamsters they have. the lables on the cages just say dwarf hamsters.
