Answer CVS in Monmouth County,NJ gives just 8.90 an hour with certification, and after a year 9.05. Go to Walgreens!CVS pays 9/hr then it goes up to 11/hr after you get your cert, usually within three months. If you stay with it you can make 40k a year.

starting rate is $9.50/hr in Cary, NC. Pay raise to $11.00 when/if you are certified.

I am not sure about California - in Georgia they start techs off at $9.50 an hour - so I am sure it is more in California since the cost of living is higher.....

Starting is usually $8/hr. But I'm making $11/hr and that's me not certified. As soon as I get certified it can easily jump to $15/hr
