i don't even want to think in England about 50,00 a week for the top players in the Perm sometimes more its really disgusting all part of modern football not soccer
I think the previous responder said 50,00 when I'm sure they meant 50,000 and Perm when they meant Premiership but I know where you're coming from.
I think you may be confusing 'win' with 'earn'. They win cups, medals and trophies that they win as a team. Their earnings are varied, with the lower divisions earning a small amount, sometimes just expenses and rail fares etc. but the further up the scale you go, the more a player can earn. Their sporting lives are short, the clubs buy and sell them like pieces of meat and they are exploited for everything they have, even their wives, so why not pay them a small fortune for the privilege?
Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba, Thierry Henry, John Terry and the like don't earn their £150,000+ per week but if you were in the a same position, what would you do? Turn it down?
Yeah, go on. Just you turn it down...
Representing his club/country, giving his best in the games and trying to win many games for his club are the main job responsibilities of a soccer player. Apart from these, Behaving in a professional manner in matches, practice and dressing room and listening to the manager are some other responsibilities. Players also have sponsorships and media commitments.
Soccer players have big benifits, such as salary perks, and money if they win a tournament, and also if they stay up for the next year. Then there is big money for each match they play n the champion league. And if they reach the quarter finals the amount increases. the club will pay a few million pounds per player if they win the champion cup.
There is a possibility that soccer players always complain about the outcome of a game they are losing because they are so passionate about the sport. The fans of many teams also are very passionate about rooting for their team and cause riots after games. Soccer is a sport that is played on a grand scale between countries and everyone wants their country to win.
The English FA wrote the rules for Football in 1863...so probably from that point. The Football Association (FA) legalised professionalism in 1895. Professional players from the working class had been hired to play football since the 1870s, and their presence caused anxiety among middle-class players, who believed that these professional players were only interested to be paid to win. Aston Villa was the first top-tiered football club that openly hired professional players of the time, although most of the professionals were hired by clubs that were located in the industrial North. It occurred to the Old Boys in the FA that most clubs wanted to win in their leagues, and in order to do that, they had to hire professional players. As a result, they passed their legislation in 1895 on condition that clubs had to follow the transfer window rules and the transfer fee system as a means to limit the transferability of the players.
