The amount of money you can get for an original Sony PlayStation can vary based on its condition as well as demand in the current market. A brand new PlayStation sealed in box can fetch as much as $1,000 at auction. A brand new PSone with LCD screen combo can get somewhere in the neighborhood of $400 in box. The later PlayStation with DualShock controller typically sells for $200-$300 at auction sealed in box. A functioning PlayStation out of box and in working condition can sell for anywhere from $20 to $80, depending on its condition, any included accessories, and variant. This is discounting special editions (eg the Net Yaroze, which can sell for $800 or more used)
.
I don't believe they will want it. The system is very old and even the PS2 is getting closer to the end of the cycle. The GameStop site only lists a couple of items for the PS1 and no games or consoles.
it depends on the rating of the game, but you can go to gamestop.com and see different ps1 game prices.
Playstations are no longer produced and the only new models sold are sold as collectibles and vary with the condition of the box and the model. Used models are not sold for much
ps1 console is now worth upto 300 pounds
They are pretty old and out of date. Both the PS2 and PS3 play the PS1 games. It has no value to me at all. Maybe someone would want it, but Gamestop will not touch it.
Why don't you go and find out. Not to be rude or anything.
Ok, well heres the first thing. There are 3 different playstations. PlayStation 1,2,and 3. I have the second one. Nobody sells playstation 1's anymore, playstation 2 & 3 are popular, though. PLaystation is like any other game console, it has games and is pretty fun. The big difference between playstation 2 and playstation 3 is that playstation 3 had internet connection, but the bad side is that it costs about $500. A playstation 2 is pretty much the same as the third but without internet. Currently, PlayStation 2's (or PS2's) are around $100-$180.
The PlayStation which became the PlayStation 1 after the release of the PS2 in 2000
Pretty much yes. lol, well the playstation is the playstation 1 now if you mean playstation and playstation 2 then ya kinda but of course the playstation 2 has better graphics and more updated. Not sure who answered the above.. To be a little more helpful, The PlayStation 1 as we all call it, was actually the PSX. The mini version was called the PS ONE. not pronounced as the number 1. actually pronounced per letter (oh en ee) as far as graphics and gaming go yes they are the same. some differences were made, but commonly can be found in the psx systems as well in later versions.. (I.E. the parallel IO ports for gamesharks and goldfinger devices and such was removed as well as music player screensavers.) The screensavers were brought back in the last models of the psx before they launched the O.N.E The PlayStation is a word that can be used for any of the Game consoles. PlayStation 1 identifies the game console before the PS2. So it answer to your question the name now has two or more meanings and that is why people started using PS1 for the First PlayStation console.
$1.
No, Gamestop stopped buying/selling PSone games/consoles in 2006.
Gamestop will give you either 1/3 or 1/2 of the price depending on the condition of the Xbox.
1 dollars 2 dollars max
It all depends on what game it is. If you bought a game for $20 or less, gamestop will give you 1-5 dollars If you bought it for 21-30 dollars, gamestop will give you 6-10 dollars If you bought it for 31-40 dollars, gamestop will give you 11-20 dollars If you bought it for 41-50 dollars, gamestop will give you 20-25 dollars If you bought a game for higher than 50 dollars, gamestop will give you 30 or more dollars
Almost nothing, if they even take it at all. Put if up on a local ads page or craigslist.com and you might get a little bit of cash for it. Only other option is to keep it in good condition for 10 years and try to find a collector.
Nothing they do not buy PlayStation 1 or sell them
As of 1/28/08, it was around $30, regardless of which version you have. They only take the core game.
Once i offered to give gamestop my ps2 memory card and they said it was worth 1 cent and they sell it for 10 bucks.
It depends on which PlayStation it is (1, 2, 3 or the portable one) plus the cost of each game.
£150.99
