How much does a cub jaguar weigh at birth?
Of course there are many variables involved when estimating the weight of a Jaguar cub. There are different species, genders, sizes of parents, diet of mother and number of cubs and other variables. An anticipated weight range could be from 700 to 900 grams (28 grams in an ounce, 16 ounces in a pound).
Lion cubs are pretty small when they are born. They weigh between 1 to 2 kilograms at birth. They are born with their eyes closed and their eyes don't open until a week. For the first few months, they are entirely dependent on their mother for milk and protection. Later, the whole pride takes care of all the cubs in the pride.
