30 dollars, but with tax 38. If it's your first time purchasing a sweet, nice, cute and cuddly guinea pig the price will be about a 100 dollars. Don't worry though, here is a list all about it:
cage: about 30 to 50 dollars. If it's a My first home cage it's 50 dollars, but it comes with a small, but big enough bedding package, a pack of food, a wood treat and a cage of course!
Water bottle: 5 to ten dollars. You need two one for fresh water, one for vitamin water.
Vitamin: 4 to 5 dollars. VERY IMPORTANT because they don't make their own vitamin c
Food bowl: 5 dollars. Get one that won't fall over.
Guinea pig food: 7 dollars to 12 tops. Get high quality food WITHOUT SEEDS.
Bedding: 12 dollars or more. Carefresh is the best and the brown kind is rougher but the
white kind is softer which I recommend.
Pigloo: 5 dollars, they love the wood houses.
A happy piggy with a new home and loving new home: priceless.
- Owner of 10 guinea pigs Hope this helps!
I LOVEEEEEE GUINEA PIGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guinea pigs usually cost $35 at Petco, but sometimes go on sale for $30.
That does not include the cost of the cage, food, bedding, hay, bowls, water bottle and other needed items. Those will cost an additional $100-200.
It depends on the popularity of the animal in the area, but when I visited there last, I saw some mini (baby?) rabbits selling for about $25-$30 each, so guinea pigs (depending on the ages) will probably sell for around the same range. Guinea pigs sell for a lot less at rescues or shelters, as they are so common to be dropped off. At the Humane Society, I got a great deal on my guinea pigs, I got two healthy adult males for $5 each, and two large cages for $10. That included the bedding, food dishes, and their little hidey house igloo. I don't know if every shelter offers this but it's always worth it to check. I would suggest not getting a guinea pig or any animal from Petco or any animal pet store as some tend to sell inbred animals or they also might have deseases. Never let any animal you buy go around your other pets (if you have any) until you have a vet avaluate them. Trust me, you end up getting healtheir animals at shelters for often lower prices.
approx. $25. it depends what kind and what the gender is..
Typically $30-$40 depending on its age and the location of the Petco.
If you want to adopt then 17 dollars but a new one would be between 30 or 40 dollars
23$ though I would suggest going to PJ Pets because it has a bigger selection and Healthier selectionand Plus it's a awesome place!
I Believe its 35 dollars
A guinea pig is between $50 to $200.
I don't know about females, but we recently bought a baby male pig and he cost us $35.
You can buy a guinea pig in anchorage from a local petco there is one in dimond and there is the new one by michaels, old navy, famous footwear and bed bath and beyond. also you could go to the aspca they have 5 guinea pigs there and you could rescue them.
Hay helps guinea pigs (and rabbits) with their teeth. It helps keep them nice and trim, you must provide your guinea pig with an unlimited supply of hay everyday.
It is spelled "guinea pig". You got it right! :)
Actually, that's a very good question! :) Guinea pigs usually are sold with hair from a petstore, [petsmart, petco, pet extreme etc etc.] You can buy or adopt a skinny guinea pig either from the pound [SPCA, ASPCA] or from a private skinny guinea pig breeder. I'm sure that if there is no skinny guinea pig breeder in your town, there's one close by! =] Good luck on finding your hairless cavy!!!!!!!!
I buy the kaytee Timothy complete pellets and they are about $8 at petco.
I think the cheapest is $10 and the most expensive is $35.
I think the safest place to buy a guinea pig is at petco probably.
petco and petsmart are good places to get it but there are more.
No! Have you seen what they do to guinea pigs? They keep them in such small GLASS CAGES! that proves PETCO cannot do anything good for your guinea pig. Not to be harsh, but you need to buy nail clippers from petco and cut them yourself. And NEVER, EVER let PETCO cut your guinea pigs nails.
Abbyssinian guinea pigs range from $20 to 40$ in cost. It is worth it though. They might be just the cutest, nicest, and cuddliest guinea pigs of all. Strait haired guinea pigs usually cost about the same. I recommend if you are buying a guinea pig to shop at a pet store such as PETCO and PETSMART. ----
Yes, PetSmart and PetCo both allow you to bring in your pets.
Well they are born in south amarica and do I would go to petco
I don't know about females, but we recently bought a baby male pig and he cost us $35.
You local pet store( like petco) should have some spray to treat tics.
petco not petsmart :)
No,it is too much acidic. So,they are bad for Guinea pig.
