Snare drums vary tremendously in size and price. If you're looking for a beginner snare you can probably find one for about 50$. However if you're looking for an average snare they vary between about 100 and 200 dollars. Eventually the more expensive snares such as Pork Pie, Orange County D&P, and others can cost from 400 $ and up. I would check out musiciansfriend.com or music123.com

It depends on the quality of the drum. If it's a beat up old piece of junk, made by a brand nobody's heard of, you probably won't get much for it.

On the other hand, if it is a good drum and a good brand, and has a case and stand with it, you could get several hundred dollars. One of the best places to check current demand is eBay. If you search for a drum like yours and watch the bidding on those items, you can see what people are currently paying for them.

Snare drum kits vary in price, depending on where one may purchase them, what type and at what point. For example there may be sales on at specific times.
