Circumcision of infants is relatively cheep $400.00 because the mutilation is usually done with no anesthetic at all. Doctors get away with it because babys cant complain.

Circumcision is not covered by health insurance as it is not a medically necessary procedure so you will have to pay for the full cost yourself out of pocket. Circumcision with general anesthesia should cost between $2000 and $3000. This includes the doctor performing the procedure and the anesthesiologist. Circumcision of adults is less expensive, as adults can opt to have only local anesthesia.

Circumcision has no known medical benefit, and most doctors recommend against routine infant circumcision. Circumcision, like all surgeries, has risks of adverse medical events including surgical error, prolonged bleeding, infection, and pain. A permanent decrease in penile sensitivity and sexual pleasure is also common since circumcision removes the foreskin, which protects the sensitive glans (head) of the penis.

Circumcision is extremely rare in the world outside the United States, and even within the United States, the circumcision rate has dropped by more than half. In 1980 over 80% of newborns in the United States were circumcised while in 2007 less than 40% of infants were circumcised.

The procedure usually costs around $400 to $500 without general anesthesia. With anesthesia, the procedure costs between $2000 and $2500. For these reasons increasing numbers of parents choose not to have their newborns circumcised. In 2007 the rate of circumcision in the United States was less than 40%.

too much.

The genital mutilation of infants is much cheaper then having it done as an adult as it is done with a minimum of pain medication. you must keep i mind however that besides the actual dollar cost of circumcising an infant the cost of reducing the effectiveness of the penis and the pleasure that may be derived from it not to mention the effects that post traumatic stress has on the mind of the child. The cost may be on going for life as there are many people that resent having their genitals mutilated by their parents. The cost may well turn out to be your Childs love or their resentment of your action.

about $300.00 for the original procedure. However there are movements afoot that indicate that eventualy legal action may be taken against those that would genitaly mutilate (circumcise ) a chid. In that case the cost will be set by the court.

That depends on who does it and where. there is a thriving trade in infant foreskins so make sure you keep in mind the sale price of the foreskin todefray the cost of this form of genital mutilation.

should not be much more then having a tooth pulled as they cant use painkillers, it is more painful though. and the trauma could well lead to extra medical expence so the final bill both financially and immemorially is impossible to predict.

It all depends on where you are and the reason and method used. It is however far cheaper to have an infant circumcised as they dont aenestthise the poor thing before mutilating its penis.
