It will be depend on what fossil fuel is in concern.
For a combine cycle power plant of around 80% capacity, cost of power per fuel is as followed for 2010. Price not include tax and transmission cost.
Natural gas = 7-10 C/kWh
Coal = 10 - 14 C/kWh
Diesel = 14 - 20 C/kWh
The Diesel priced was estimated by approximation the relative cost of Diesel and Natural gas cost so it may not be accurate.

Running costs are cheap,
but by the time you figure ALL the costs (waste disposal, the plant itself will end up radioactive - for millions of years) it becomes very expensive.
lots and lots and lots
i dont know the friken answer
alot
Discussing the cost of a kilowatt is nonsensical. If you want to discuss the cost of a unit of electrical energy, Kilowatt-hour makes sense.
$1,000,000,000,000
(700 watts) x (10 hours/day) x (30 days/month) x (1 kilowatt / 1,000 watts) =(700 x 10 x 30 / 1,000) (watt - hour - day - kilowatt / day - month - watt) =210 kilowatt-hour / monthWe're guessing that the actual cost of your electric energy is $0.09 per kilowatt-hour.(210 kilowatt-hour / month) x ($0.09 / kilowatt-hour) = $18.90 per month .
1 MeV = 1.602×10-13 J (1 J = 1 watt.sec) Energy/fission ~ 200 Mev Energy per fission in kw.hour ~ 200 (Mev) x 1.602 x 10-13 (watt.sec/Mev) x 1/1000 (kw/w) x 3600 (s/hour) ~ 11.52 x 10 -11 kw.hour Then 1 kilowatt.hour = 1/ 11.52 x 10 -11 fissions = 8.681 x 10 9 fissions So, 1 kilowatt hour requires around 8.681 x 10 9 nuclear fission events
3 cents
One half pence.
The 2.03 cents per kilowatt hour cost for nuclear power is inaccurate. December 19, 2011. New study published by National Bureau of Economic Research states: Pg 23 of the report, Table 3 lists the levelized cost of nuclear power as 8.7 cents per kilowatt hour (MIT 2009), and 6.7 cents for natural gas.
h does electricity cost per kilowatt hour at wales?
It is not true. The levelized cost of a kilowatt hour electricity from nuclear energy is cheaper than any other source of electricity except hydraulic power in some countries.
Discussing the cost of a kilowatt is nonsensical. If you want to discuss the cost of a unit of electrical energy, Kilowatt-hour makes sense.

1000 watts per hour is a kilowatt hour and is usually 10 cents

22.8 cents per Kilowatt hour. The national average is about 12 cents.
