actually many health departments and other public health agencies are offering it to people free of charge. check with your town's public health officials. Also, if you fall under one of the three "high risk" rankings, you may qualify for a free vaccination.

I was interested in this so did some digging around, the regular seasonal flu jab costs £7.51 in the UK.

The Swine Flu vaccination is a little cheaper as the sheer quantities ordered mean the price has been driven down to about £7 per shot, swine flu is recommended to have 2 shots though. meaning a total cost of £14 per person, plus the time for GP's to administer the jabs.

In the US, the vaccine and supplies for the vaccination administration are provided free of cost by the government to anyone who wishes to have the vaccination, however, any private providers who administer the vaccinations may charge for their administration services. If you get it from one of the local government-sponsored vaccination sites there will be no charge at all.

Additional information:

Ours cost us $ 30 - 40.

In the US, in the 2012 - 2013 flu season, some pharmacies are offering the annual seasonal vaccinations (which contain the swine flu vaccine again this year along with two other different types of flu vaccines), many at $25, such as Walmart and Kroger. The cost does vary, usually due to some places adding additional charges for administration of the vaccination to the cost of the vaccine itself, this is true in most physician offices, too.

Many insurance plans, including Medicare, will cover the full cost of preventive care, such as flu vaccinations. Some, but not all, pharmacies will bill your insurance for you, but in other situations you may have to pay now and submit the claim for coverage to your insurance company for reimbursement later.

around £30

In the US, the typical cost is $25. In the 2010-2011 flu season, the swine flu vaccine is included in the regular seasonal flu shot.

During the pandemic the monovalent swine flu shots were provided free by the US government.

As with any type of insurance, there is no easy answer for "how much does X coverage cost?" Because insurance companies use such a diverse set of factors to rate policies there is no one way to know exactly how much insurance will cost any perticular individual. The best I can say is to start contacting agents in your area or go on-line and search for insurers and start getting quotes. Also make sure that the companies you are being quoted with are financially stable and rated highly by AM Best.

It really depends on the orthodontist and the type of braces they use. You can get free consultations from pretty much any orthodontist. They will tell you about how long you will need to wear them, you can decide together what type you want and they will let you know how much it will cost. And how much your insurance will cover, if they cover any and if you have insurance.
