The average cost is $83 per square foot, but this number varies based on region. You also need to factor in the cost of the lot and your fixtures/appliances.
If you have to ask, you can't afford it. :-) O.K.; that's fine but the real answer should be $80-$120/sq.ft. using conventional stick built construction in todays market. However. you might want to consider building a Monolithic (concrete dome) that's reinforced with steel rebar. You can learn r…elatively easily how to do it and build them for others later, and be glad that you just built the only house on earth that CAN'T be destroyed. Cost:$65-$90/sq.ft. Still too much? How about a hay bale house? Cost: $30-$65/sq.ft depending on amenities. Or for around the same price, maybe a little more, maybe less, build a greenhouse, put a camper inside for the kitchen and bathroom, and enjoy your own terrarium year-round and sleep under the stars. Use the rest of your money heating the place... ( Full Answer )

How much land do you need to build a 2800 sq ft house and still have yard left for the kids and a small garden?
Well, that depends...one or two story? And what do you consider "enough" yard for children. I would say that an acre would be enough. I have a home 1400 sq. ft. with 1/2 acre, I have three small boys, they have plenty of room for a swing set, sand box, pool and room to run, and also a small garden. …Not sure if this helps, but good luck. It would cost 50 to 100 dollars a square foot. The final pricedepends on the builder and the materials that you choose to use.
There is much to consider when building a house. 1. Are you including the land cost in your #? 2. Are you including your closing costs and loan origination fees for the construction loan? 3. Or are you just trying to calculate how much per sq. ft. will the "sticks and bricks" cost? 4. Also, the area… where you are building will have different basic requirements such as plumbing systems and other restrictions. A septic system could cost you anywhere from $4000-$20000 depending on where you're located and if you're near a body of water. I recommend going to Realtor.com or another site where you can shop for homes and use this calculation: $sales price/sq.ft. That will give you the cost per sq. ft. of a house that YOU like! The finish out and selections and upgrades that you choose for the interior will dramatically affect the price per sq.ft. ( Full Answer )
It depends, to some extent on where you live or if you are building on a golf course where the lot price will kill you! The average can be anywhere from $80 a square foot to $300. I'd plan on around $125. Also, it is always cheaper to build UP instead of OUT. So a 2 story house with 4 bedroo…ms will cost less than an ranch with 4 bedrooms. But - you need room for a staircase which takes away square feet. Open concept main floors help give you more functional space in smaller area. If you are going to have a basement, and can get a lot with walkout - make the basement ceilings higher, and with enough exposed walls you can put in full sized windows and create the same feeling you have on the main or upper floors. It is one way to make the bedrooms larger; having only three up and one down, or 2 up, 2 down. Only difference is finished basements don't give you much return or count as total square footage. . Bottom line is not how many bedrooms you want, it is how much square footage you can afford, what kind of finishes you want, lot location. If you are in a cold climate, plan on addressing issues of warmth in basement. And if you have a second story bedroom over the garage, it will be ice cold without a lot of extra insulation. . I think you can remodel and existing house, even build on a bit, for about half the square foot cost. Consider that alternative. . ( Full Answer )
A good builder will cost around 125 to 135 hundred dollars persquare foot. Final price depends on square footage and finalbuilding materials.

How much is labor cost per sq ft to paint exterior house on average not including cost of paint in Syracuse New York?
it all depends on the company you are paying, Exterior painting canbe expensive, so be sure to get some estimates and references.
about 1000 dollars why would you even want to build one just buy one it's much better anyway
It really depends. On what? The location of the house: if it's in a hard-to-reach area, the building materials/labor has to make a longer trip=more cost. If it's in a busy city area (NYC?) the real estate would cost more. It also depends on whether you're building from scratch, or improving an exist…ing structure. It can vary from 10-15 bucks a sq ft to 2, 3 hundred. ( Full Answer )

An 1800 sf house can have four walls or 12walls if really depends on the wall area and not the over all living space. Note: you will need to calculate the total square footage of each room (ceiling and walls). Use this formula to determine the amount of paint needed for each room: Height of the ro…om x perimeter of the room = Square feet of the walls. Divide that number by 350 to determine the total gallons needed to paint the room a single coat. To figure the amount of paint needed to paint the ceiling, multiply the length of the room by the width of the room. Then divide that amount by 300, or if the ceiling is sculpted or highly textured, as little as 150. Do this for each room in the house to determine the total amount of paint needed for the inside of the house. To determine the amount needed for the outside, multiply the perimeter of the house x the number of stories x 10. Divide that total by 350 for smooth walls 300 for lap siding or as low as 200 for heavy textured stucco walls. That will give you the number of gallons needed for one coat of primer or paint. This is for a standard house paint. If you are using a high build, like elastomeric paint, check the can or data sheet for proper spread rates. ( Full Answer )
Most houses are MUCH larger than 100 sq ft. In fact, most bedrooms are close to, or more than 100 sq feet, which equates to 10 feet x 10 feet. The smallest usable bedroom would be about 5 feet wide by 8 feet long, or 40 sq feet, but would only have room for the bed and a small nightstand. I…n most modern homes, small bedrooms are about 8 feet wide by 10 feet long, or 80 sq feet, while master bedrooms are generally about 14 feet square (196 square feet). Master bedrooms might also include a bath and/or walk-in closet, extending total area to about 300 square feet. Even the President's bedroom in the White House is no more than 20 feet wide by 25 feet long (much smaller than depicted in movies), but does include several additional rooms (Dressing room, Sitting Room, closets) that create a full suite of about 1,000 square feet for the President's personal use. How much land would you need to build a 10000 sq ft house and have a pool and basketball court and a small guest house?
Best thing to do would be to decide where these would go on your lot. For all practical purposes an acre may suffice, However 2-4 would be advisable.
The cost to build a 1000 sq ft ranch style house is dependent uponexactly where the it is to be built. The size of the lot, materialsused and quality level are also all factors in the cost.
The cost to build a house will vary by area and the custom workdone. Your local builders association can tell you the cost resquare foot in your area for building a basic home.
I've been doing residential and commercial contracts jobs for about 30 years now. To get an accurate estimate you would need to provide some specifications about your home. Your goal is to not be able to tell the house was added on to. That being said..I'd say if your allowances are middle of the ro…ad you could expects some estimates in the $120 per foot range and higher or lower depending on the specs. And if you were to stay very conservative as my wife and I did building our home, you could spend considerably less. We built a 2 story 2200 sq.ft. side entry steep pitch roof home for around a $165,000 and that was with the lot. The catch is we are outside the city and my brother and I built and covered every aspect of the build except for sheetrock and roofing. So draw up your plans and submit em to your permit office, don't need architect stamp, and get estimates and do it yourself! The inspectors will help you where and when you need it, that's what they get paid to do also. Considering the answer above, at $120/sq foot, you would spend a little more than $20K for a 12 x 14 room. Of course, if you add a bathroom (which you should for a master bedroom), it will probably double the price since you need to deal with plumbing and fixtures. Make sure your plans include good, but moderate materials and stick to your plan so that you do not end up way over budget. If this is not your usual work, hiring someone to do the work right is going to be time and money savvy. ( Full Answer )

it all depends on the type of metal u choose to use for the roof, the quality of the work, the style in which it is done and who does it. to get the price u need to have a contractor come look at the home first to make sure of all the work that is going to need to b done then to find out how u want …it done , style and what material then he can give u a price. If I bought a 2000 sq ft house package from menards that costs 71000 how much would you pay someone to build it?
As a Contractor..you may find someone to do it for a base price of $50/sq.ft. Extras will surely come because of changes you will want ...not the contractor. I know this "sounds" steep.
To answer this question, you need to know how much a gallon or unit of the paint can cover and the price per gallon or unit of the paint. Let us say a gallon covers 120 sq ft and it costs 10 dollars a gallon. You would need 600/120 gallons, which is five gallons and it would cost 5 x 10 dollars, whi…ch is fifty dollars. This is just an example, not an estimate. The other cost would be labor if you hired someone to do it. Otherwise you would also have to add the cost of a paint roller and pan, and brushes if you did it yourself. ( Full Answer )

I just bid a 2800sq' house for $3300 after taking 10% off for being friends of of a friend and bidding it at 2500 sq' the formula I use for an exterior repaint is $1.25 per square ft of house as a general rule plus other determining factors such as terrain, ease of access, how much prep(sanding, scrapi…ng,priming, caulking)thereare allot of factors that go into a bid. I also base part of my bid on the area and my future customers financial situation. If my customer is an elderly widow that lives off social security and just wants something pretty to come home to I'm going to be working for cookies and milk. If you live in an area where there is access to illegal cheap work from people that do not pay business taxes than you will get what you pay for. A cheap job that will not last and a lawsuit when they get hurt on your property. The amount that I gave you of $3300 is just a number without actually seeing your house. Your best bet is to get e few good bids and go with the guy in the middle with the most knowledge and hungry he has the least overhead and will be eager to please. ( Full Answer )
Well, it really depends how big the house is. Today the building price in America is 100 dollars per square foot, and for a four bedroom house you need at least 2000 square feet (for small bedrooms. It also depends on if you want upgrades, like woo floors instead of carpet, or granite instead of lam…inate, so all together, as long as you have a lot, you are looking at about 225,000 or more. THanks.....I also have the same question for building a four bedroom house in Nigeria....how much would it cost in US dollars? ( Full Answer )

How much would it cost for your house of 2200 sq ft and all trim and baseboards to get professionally painted?
It varies based on the complexity of the job. A good rule of thumb is to determine the cost of materials, then multiply that amount by three to four to determine a range for the total price of the entire job. Best bet is to contact at least three contractors for bids and eliminate the high and low p…rices. ( Full Answer )
5cc? cc means cubic centimetres which is equal to ml, so 5ml. if you mean cl, then that is equal to 50ml
Very difficult to say. The square footage of a house is no real clue as to how much trim there is, or how many doors.
There is no real answer to that. It would depend on lots offactors, like the type of paint, whether you were painting ityourself or getting someone else to do it, and what other equipmentyou may need to get to do the job, like a ladder and paintbrushes.

7996.634496 lbs of sand. 500 sq feet is measurement of area which gives no indication as tothe shape. For simplicity purposes we will assume the shape is a rectanglewith the dimensions of 25 ft by 20 ft. The depth is 2 inches so we need to convert our measurements. 25 ft = 300 in, 20 ft = 240 in,… 2 in = 2 in. Volume = 300*240*2 = 144000 cubic inches. Converting cubic inches to feet: 144000 * .00057870 = 83.2896 cubicfeet. Now sand has an average of 96.01 pounds per cubic foot. So 96.01*83.2896 = 7996.634496 lbs of sand. ( Full Answer )
