Usually more than it's worth
there are two screws behind the steering wheel, un screw those, then you need a puller to take off the steering wheel, the cost about $50 to buy and about $15 to rent, then you horn system, is right behind that.
You change the steering. But it cost a lot of money and waiting time. The whole front layout has to be changed. But if you really want to do it you can look awesome out on the road driving a car that isn't sold in that country.
About 5 bucks
you can find your self a steering wheel at junk yard or you can contact me dj_lion19@yahoo.com i also could get it from junk yard for you it will cost you
The 2010 Chevy Cobalt power steering wheel will cost you about $400.
Can be done but too expensive to be practical. For the cost you could buy one with the wheel on your preferred side.
I'm not surprised. Go to the alignment shop and get a wheel alignment. It will cost about $80 US. Unless you damaged some of the steering components. It's your ONLY option.
There is significantly more to an air bag system than just the steering wheel. Can it be done? Yes. Would it be cost effective? NO.
Yes, but the cost of actually doing so will make the conversion not worth while.
Instead of taking this somewhere to have it done (I just finished taking apart my steering wheel today, not easy unless you can move the wheel), call a locksmith, it will cost less money to get a key made than to have a mechanic work on it.
yes you can convert a 2 wd to a 4 wd, but the cost of doing this will exceed the value of the truck.
The clock spring is part of the Air bag system. It keeps the connection on the air bag while turning the steering wheel. To get to it you MUST DISCONNECT the battery first. This is a must. Then take the air bag from the center of the steering wheel. The bolts are on the back of the steering wheel. Remove the lower cover at the ignition switch. unplug the wires going to the steering wheel. That is the clock spring wiring. When you remove the steering wheel the clock spring is right there. Dealing with the air bag is DANGEROUS if you are not familiar with this stuff spend the money to have it fixed. Your safety is more important than saving a couple of dollars. Call your local dealer or go online to find the price of the clock spring. I don't know how much it cost.
