If you are looking to get to Finish Lapland, then you have to fly to Roveniemi - the costs depends where you coming from

Once you there - be ready - this is not a cheap place, B&B are starting from about 70euro per night hotels are more, mostly u will spend your money on the unique activities such as dog sledding (minimum for few hours trip is about 150 euro) , snowmobile (around the same ) , ice breaker tours (more than 200 euros) and more - it is expensive but it worth it

you can check my Lapland traveling tips below

You can fly direct to Kittila airport and you can arrange your holiday direct instead of through a tour operator (its significantly cheaper). You can save money because you can book you own trips which is a lot cheaper than going through a tour operator. You can if you like book your trips when you get there. Akaslompolo, Yllas is a great part of Lapland that is generally uncommercialised and relaatively quiet. A trip to Lapland doesn't have to break the bank providing you bi pass the tour operatours and organised trips. We went in December and had a wonderful time, the prices weren't too bad. We booked through www.justlapland.com, have a look its worth it.
