You don't specify if the isopropyl alcohol is 70% or 91%, which are the two popular concentrations. I weighed a quart bottle of 91% = 1.86 lbs whereas 70% weighted 2.025 lbs - both including the plastic bottle....

It depends how much you think it might have... if it has a lot, it will be flammable, and have a easily identifiable odor (isopropyl alcohol is rubbing alcohol, and ethanol is the alcohol in alcoholic beverages).Small amounts will be harder to test for without doing a more involved chemical test.

How many pounds does a gallon of wine weigh?

Between 8.34 and 9.0 pounds per US gallon, depending on the alcohol content (heavier for low alcohol wine). Water weighs about 8.34 pounds a gallon, and wine after fermenting may have the same specific gravity as water. Although the weight is increased by dissolved solids, it is reduced by the alcohol content, as alcohol weighs less than water. During the winemaking process, wine can weigh as much as 9 pounds or more.
