How much food hamsters eat?
Probably about 1 and 1/2 teaspoons a day. I would give it a little extra becaue they like to store food.
Well it depends on what type of food you give them. Its not that hamsters eat to much food, its that hamster's food contains really little protein and nutrition. Anyways, there food is really small. They need to eat a lot so they can get full. Its like eating a really mini hamburger. You wont get full with one, you will need to eat a lot.
Hamsters can eat stuff like bananas, apples, sunflower seeds, and don't forget hamster food and more. You also should feed your hamster vitamins. You can find vitamins for hamsters at most pet stores. But DO NOT feed your hamster too much apple or banana. If you feed it too much it might get a tummy ache. Also DO NOT feed it citrus fruits like oranges. I am NOT going to list all the things hamsters…
To be fair, hamsters actually eat just about anything, but that doesn't mean you should feed them food humans eat. Hamsters shouldn't really eat rice. You could feed them rice, but it wouldn't be very healthy for them, specially if the rice has condiments or meat. They should eat hamster food, fruit and veg :)
