In 1866 both the silver and nickel 3 cent piece were struck. So for the silver in MS-60 $840.00 The nickel is $101.00 in MS-60
worth about 1 cent to the range of 2 cents.
There were 2 types of 3-cent piece struck that year. The nickel ones are worth $15 to $35 depending on wear. The silver ones are worth $350 to $500. Here are pictures of each type:
