Even with a picture and a complete description it would be difficult to give you a precise answer. Unless there is something special about it, it is not worth very much, but somebody might want to buy it. I don't think you have to worry about giving away a treasure if you sell it for $10.00 at a yard sale. You could list it on e-bay and see if anybody bids. You might be able to donate it to a local museum.
