How much is a 1968 kennedy silver half dollar worth
In uncirculated condition, about five cents. 1968 pennies in circulated condition are only worth face value.
They're worth about two cents each for the copper.
About 2 cents, due to copper content.
They aren't.1967 and 1968 pennies both have very high mintages and are in common circulation, they are only worth a penny.
If it's after the 1950s with an S mint mark, that makes it a proof coin. A '68-S might be worth a dollar or so as long as it's still in mint condition. Not all S mint 1968 Lincoln cents are proof. The San Francisoc Mint made business strike Lincoln cents from 1968 thru 1974. The 1968-S Lincoln cents released into circulation are considered common and still found in circulation today. Uncirculated examples are less than a dollar.
in bad shape, worth its face value, proof and uncirulated 1 dollar at best
Kennedy half dollars minted between 1965 and 1970 contain 40% silver and are worth a little less than $5 each.
Kennedy half dollars from 1965 to 1969 are 40% silver with a value of $1.25
1965-1970 Kennedy halves are only 40% silver. Most are valued for just the silver, about $4.50.
The US Mint in New Orleans ceased the production of coins in 1909. A 1968 Lincoln penny with an "O" as mintmark would have to be counterfeit or an authentic coin which has been altered to show the "O" mintmark. Either way it has no true numismatic value.
If this question is about the coin's value, it's worth about $4.50 for its silver content.
Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King were both assassinated in 1968. One hundred years earlier Abraham Lincoln was assassinated
In 1968 the Kennedy half dollars were still struck in 40% silver so it has the silver value only, about $2.50. The gold plating was NOT done at the Mint and adds nothing to the value.

No such thing. If you mean a 1968 Washington QUARTER, it's still worth 25 cents. If you mean a '68 KENNEDY half dollar, it's worth around $4 because of its silver content.
