In my area a 1979 El Camino will have an average retail value of $6,000. This is a very collectible car and is worth whatever someone will pay for it. Of course without seeing the car, knowing it's condition, and most important what engine it has, this is just a ballpark figure. I suggest you contact a Chevy dealer and look at www.nada.com to find out the value of yours. But remember that the El Camino is getting more and more valuable all the time. They are hot! Not bad for a vehicle that sold for around $5,500.
go to manheimgold.com as it's a site for old car prices.
