It depends what type of turtle. My yellow bellied turtle (yellow bellied slider) in Scotland cost me £18, but that wasn't the tank, filter, water heater or heat lamp, (you may also need a UV lamp) that was just the turtle.

It may because the habitat is unsuitable for your turtle if it is in a tank and not enough different kinds of food. If you buy a 50 gallon inexpensive rubber made container and feed the Turtle a different variety of foods that should fix the problem. hope this helps.......
good question!! when it's a baby, .hould be in a 10 gallon. when it's a year old, it should be in a 25 gallon. when it's full grown, it should be in a 40 gallon or above. if you have 2 turtles, it would be good to have a 50 or 60 gallon tank if there full grown.
Depends if it an ASME rated tank or a garbage residential as the wall thickness and pressure rating has to do with the weight
u can use a aqueon 55 gallon filter
A pet turtle can be about a 50 years old.
My turtle is a baby and I have a 50 litre tank. He would probably fit into it until he is about 5-6 years old, maybe even older. So maybe if your turtle is older than 10 years old, get a larger tank.
probably a 50 gallon tank would be best.
