Browning made Sweet 16's in 1955, however there was not a special Anniversary model made that year. A 1955 Sweet will run in the $400-$2000 range depending on condition.

Sweet Sixteens, whether Belgian or Japanese, in original excellent condition, are bringing over $1000.

Yes, that was an option.

The Sweet 16 has always had a Gold Trigger. Developed and tested in 1936, the Sweet 16 (which is the lightweight 16 ga of the Auto-5) was first released to the public in 1937 with a Gold Trigger. All Sweets since have had a Gold Trigger. There has never been a sweet 16 without a gold trigger.

How much is a Browning Sweet 16 gold trigger shotgun worth?

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_value_of_a_Browning_Sweet_Sixteen

The gold trigger usually means that a Browning A5 is a Lightweight,in this case a Sweet Sixteen made after 1947. However, the sweet Sixteen was available from 1937 with this option and it has nothing to do with the value of the gun. Choke, barrel type, stock type and most of all condition are the driving factors with these guns. === === A pre war sweet 16 (1937-1939) has a gold trigger as did all Sweets. 1947 has no bearing on the question above. The script lettering on the left side of the receiver saying "Sweet Sixteen" showed up in 1948 + 49. Provide the serial number to determine year of mfg, and condition, then re-ask your question on Wikpedia.

These guns have been selling in the $1200-$1800 range. New in the original box will be on the higher end.

Call Browing with the serial number and they can tell you.

your browning sweet-sixteen semi auto shotgun which was made in 1962 is selling for between 550-750 dollars depending on the overall original condition.

If there isn't an "S" in the serial number, it's not a Sweet Sixteen.

It will depend on the specific model and its condition. A quick look at the GunsAmerica.com site shows Browning Sweet 16 shotguns listed for anywhere from $650 to $2500.

If that is the entire serial number, it was made in 1939. Value would depend on whether the gun is original or not, and its condition.

If it is a Belgian 3 shot it could go from 300-$1000+ depending on condition. if it is an American Browning it would not be a sweet, but would go from $250-$800 depending on condition auto5man

with these fine made Belgium shotguns, condition is everything in the value of your Browning Sweet Sixteen shotgun which was made in Belgium in the year 1957.They can be worth between 300-1,200 dollars if the original condition is quite prevalent and the bore is in excellent condition.

Your browning sweet sixteen was made by browning in 1963.

The safety has always been in the trigger guard of the A5. Early guns had a front-to-rear safety in the front of the trigger guard. Yours should have the later style crossbolt safety behind the trigger. Plain barrel Sweet Sixteens in excellent condition will bring $1000. They drop off fast as they get toward 80% condition. In 'VG' condition, $650.

your browning sweet sixteen was made in 1965.assuming that you have a standard grade in 80% condition it would be worth about 625.00 dollars,if it has a vent rib barrel it would be worth 875.00 dollars. if the shotgun is in better condition say 90% the value would go up another 100-250 dollars.

Value depends on condition, age, accessories, box, papers.

No way to answer without a sn, condition and bbl length.

100-1000 USD or more depending on specifics
