I would say honestly that for someone seriously interested in gaming, no. The graphics aren't fantastic neither is the game play and the range of games is quite limited. I would think anyone older than 13 would regret buying it.

∙ 11y agoTo be honest when I got the 3ds I wasn't so excited as I used to be, then I found out that you cannot plug it in a tv, which attracted me to become interested in it. So if you're like, 13 years or younger, get the 3ds. Otherwise, you'll find it babyish if you're 14 and up.

Pros:
- Cheaper than standard 3DS ($129.99 compared to $169.99 for North America)
- More durable
- Comes with a 4GB SD card instead of 2GB
Cons:
- No 3D feature
- Cannot fold in half, therefore taking up more space
- One speaker
