that's a very, very expensive bassoon. Most run around 8-15000 and are fine quality. a good quality bassoon is around 25000 dollars.
You can find decent bassoons for about $5,000. Better student models cost maybe $7,000 or so, and expensive pro models (like Heckel) could be more than $30,000.
Of course, you could get cheaper used bassoons.
It depends on the bassoon. If its a student bassoon, plastic, and used it'll be a lot cheaper then a wooden student bassoon. Most student bassoon ive seen are from around 6k to 13k. Professional bassoon can be a lot more expensive then that though....
