The dirty little secret is that most Franklin Mint issues do not appreciate significantly in value. They're made for the collector's market in the first place, and "limited edition" usually means "limited to the number of people we think will buy them ever", so for the most part you're lucky if in 20 years they're still worth what you paid for them, unless they're made from some material with an intrinsic value that's appreciated significantly (for example, the value of a piece containing 2 ounces of gold is going to be at minimum the current value of 2 ounces of gold).
As with all collectibles, a value estimate you get over the internet is worth what you paid for it, possibly less. You should take it to a dealer for an in-person estimate.
One problem is that you'd think "Franklin Mint Princess Diana Bride Doll Original" would be descriptive enough to narrow down what the thing actually is, but if you do a Google search for that, you'll quickly notice that it's not. I've seen prices for things that could reasonably be described by that phrase offered for everywhere from $40 to $400, and keep in mind that the fact that someone on eBay is trying to sell something for $400 does not mean it's actually worth $400.
