How much is my clock worth
The room lp, which is a fuse 10 A, controls the digital clock in a 2011 KIA Sorrento.
there is no separate clock battery. the clock has 2 power wires. one to maintain power when the key is off and one to light it when the key is on. if the clock resets to 12:00 or 1:00 every time you start it, try replacing the "dome" fuse in the fuseblock under the hood.
With the year, make, and model I would suggest looking for a fuse labeled interior lights.
Usually under the Steering wheel there are fuses for the Radio and Dome Light. Check and make sure they aren't blown. The Dome light fuse controls Time/Clock, and sometimes stuff like Door Lock controls, Keyless Entry Systems, Dash Cluster Lights, and maybe even headlight controls. For the Radio there will be Radio No.1 and No.2 fuses check both of these.
The leading cause of the radio, clock, and dome light not working on the Hyundai is a blown fuse. This is also one of the easiest and least expensive repairs to start with. There could also be a loose or broken wire in the instrument panel.Ê
Clock and Radio, i had a small short on my tercel and i blew my radio and dashboard clock, now they are not working, trying to replace that fuse..
It's the dome fuse under the hood. Controls the radio and the clock also. Try it. It worked on mine
it should be the same as the interior light fuse. all of these are together i think.
See the 7.5 fuse in location 15 on the fuse box
the dome light and clock all run of of the remote memory wire which is a blue wire with a yellow strip/ and your constant wire is grey.
The fuse for the dome light and clock, etc. is in the fuse block under the hood on the driver's side. It is a 7.5 amp fuse towards the front of the fuse block. Look at the inside fuse block cover for location. Hope this helps.
