Where can you find information about a Winchester Model 94 32 special rifle serial 101xxxx with a nickel barrel?
Hopefully you are looking at the barrel marking indicating a nickel steel barrel, and not that the rifle has been nickel plated. We would have to have a LOT more information to even hazard a guess on value. Condition, originality, any special order features....? Is it actually a rifle, or it is a carbine? Digital pictures would be a big help. email@example.com
With the serial number that you have provided, your Winchester model 1894 rifle was made in the year 1925.I cannot asses a value of your Winchester model 1894 rifle without a detailed description of its overall condition,if any special orde features are present(special wood, type of magazine, type of barrel, barrel length, checkering if present.)I would need to know the amount of original blueing remaining also.

Your serial number indicates that your Winchester model 1894 rifle was made in the year 1899.Being such a early model 1894 rifle,I would have it appraised by a member of the Winchester collectors assoc. It could bring in the neighborhood of 1,500-2000 dollars in the condition you describe.Especially if it has any special order features which could be ordered in that time. These would include checkered wood, special wood, half magazine, octagon barrel, special barrel length,a take down model etc.

I had the same question so I bought a box of Winchester steel shells [#7 shot target loads 1200 fps] and shot them through my M12 nickel steel barrel with a Briley Mod. Choke tube. The plastic build up was more than I expected but after a good cleaning the barrel still looks good, no damage using target loads and they broke targets. I am going to shoot more through that barrel and keep checking.

I'm not sure if that chambering was in regular production, but even if it wasn't, Winchester bent over backwards for their customers and would fill special requests. The quickest way to tell for sure is to take a close look at the barrel of the gun. If it says Winchester model 70, New Haven, Ct. AND 7mm Weatherby on the barrel, it's factory issue.
Call S&W and they will tell you when it left the factory.

The Model 94 Nickel steel 25-35 is a VERY RARE GUN. when the 25-25 was introduced it was primarily used in safari grade rifles ie,double barrel rifles,so if you have acquired a lever action one (i am assuming being a winchester) than i would take it to somebody who is very familiar with older model guns because the gun is not in production any more--and neither is the round-
