What is the standard size for a wallet photograph?
"Traditional" hand-printed, hand-cut wallets or billfolds are either 2-1/2x3-1/2 (from a 5x7, 11x14, and larger related sheets) or 2-1/3x3-1/3 (from 8x10), unless they are die-cut or machine cut with a two-edged trimmer, in which case they're smaller by a bit (with rounded corners). Baseball cards were standardized at 2.5x3.5 for the same reason. The problem with machine-print wallets today is that they have to fit on a "page" which can be anything from 3.5x5 to 11x14, and to be economical the labs want them to fit neatly, with no gaps. So the dimensions "float" a bit anyways. 2x3 are mini-wallets. 2-1/4x3-1/4 or 2-1/3x3-1/3 are standard wallets 2-1/2x3-1/2 are "jumbo" or traditional wallets. First let me say, great answer! Hear is another tip: They are the same size as a standard playing card :) (If machine-cut, at least that gives another visual) Also wallets vary slightly (depending on where they were made and the brand) so if I were you I would do a low quality practice print to make sure it fits nicely then you will have the exact size for you're husband's particular wallet :)

What is the value of an 11x14 inch photo of Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth with signatures of both men?
A Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig duel signed photo is worth about $7,000. -$15,000. Price will vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signatures. Photo composition, and how well the photo displays the signatures will also effect the price. Larger and more desired pictures could sell for more. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. In a recent auction a Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig duel signed photo sold for $16,730.

How do you build a model house inexpensively?
There is a program called "Punch 5 in one home designs available at computer stores or office supply stores that contains plans that you can print and cut out on paper. At your local arts supply store you can purchase 11x14 card and paste your cutout paper on to it. I know it's cheap but it works well. Use low grade sand paper to make rooking shingles and also if you etch lines in it it can look like brick. Thin coffee stir sticks can be used to make windo frames and eves for under your roof. Hope this helps.

Derek Jeter signed 11 x 14 photo A Derek Jeter signed 11 x 14 photo is worth about $150.-$250. Price will vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. Part of the value will be determined by how well the photo displays the signature, the type of ink used, and how it stands out in contrast to the photograph. Sharpie would be most preferred for a photo. Larger, and more desired photos will sell for more. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less.

I know there are print lab companies do print pictures on a canvas. But is there any way that you can do it by yourself instead of ordering to those labs?
If you have a pigment printer like an Epson SureColor printer, you can. You put canvas in your printer, load the ICC profile for the canvas you are using on your computer, and print. You might not want to though; the canvas has to be six inches larger in both directions than the finished print, because three inches on each side wraps around the stretcher bars. If you want an 11x14 canvas print, you need to print a canvas 17x20. They make printers that big, but they're expensive.

What do you use for picture frames area or perimeter?
Perimeter, since it measures the distance around a shape. Area measures the interior. Or, more specifically, height by width, for example, 8x10 or 11x14 (inches). The perimeter for an 8x10 would be 2 times 8 plus 2 times 10, or 36 inches, but that would be insufficient to differentate an 8x10 frame from, say, a 6x12 frame (admittedly a rare size, but still possible.) So, while the common specification of a frame by height and width could be reduced to either perimeter or area, it is never done that way, precisely because important information is lost, the actual usable size of the frame.

How do you print posters in Photoshop PS3?
Well first off, you need a printer that can already print poster sizes. Your file should have a ratio for a standard poster of 2:3(4x6 shape), 5:7(5x7 shape), 4:5 (8x10 shape), or 11:14 (11x14 shape). The safest DPI I say is 1200 especially if the Image size is coming up 2 inches by 3 inches or something like that. Though it really should be 300+ DPI regardless. http://www.theposterplace.com/Sizing.asp is a good reference. Make any necessary adjustments you need to do for that specific printer then let it go. It's really expensive just to do one. I did one at my school and it was about $40 to print.
Where do you get photographic dry plates developed?
If you are going to go to the trouble of using dry plates you might as well set up your own dark room as well. Professional camera shops may be able to help you out with finding a place that will do them for you but it is an old method and usually done by the same person who took the photo. Even in 1976 when I was using my grandfathers 8x10 and 4x5 cameras and cutting my own film from 11x14 stock, places were hard to find and I converted a bathroom in my parents house ( much to their chagrin ) into my darkroom. The chemicals were much easier to find than someone to do it and I pretty much wanted to do it all myself anyhow. If these are old undeveloped plates that you found and you want to find out what is on them again your local professional photo shop might point you toward some photographic artists or black and white enthusiasts in your area.

How do you calculate the number of 2x2 squares in a 11x14 space?
Depends. Calculation 1: Imagine a room 11 feet x 14 feet. Now you have tiles 2 feet x 2 feet. If you want to know how many whole 2x2 tiles you can fit on the floor of the room and leave the rest without tiles (because 11 feet is an un-even dimension to the room) (round 11 down to 10) 10/2 = 5 14/2 = 7 5 * 7 = 35 tiles. Calculation 2: If you want to know how many 2x2 tiles you would need to completely cover the floor (where you would cut the tiles) entire area of floor: 11 feet * 14 feet = 154 feet squared area of a single tile: 2 feet * 2 feet = 4 feet squared 154 feet squared / 4 feet squared = 38.5 tiles.
