You want cheaper? Get an Alaskan malamute from a shelter or rescue. However, these Malamutes are probably not from the best pedigree and are most likely going to cost you more in the long run because of their health issues. One of their biggest health issues if hip dysplasia.

∙ 15y agoIt all depends on the dog and the breeder. I would do some really good research before you decide to get an Alaskan Malamute and do some research on the breeder you would like to get the pup from. If you can contact an Alaskan Malumute Rescue instead I would. There are so many dogs and puppys out there that need people who will care for them. I have had Malamutes all my life and there wonderful dogs but they need a lot of care and attention. They are diffcult to train and can be very stubborn but that comes with the breed.
