Between the cost of building a set, making costumes, paying rent and operating expenses of the venue, not to mention salaries of the directors, designers, and wardrobe, stage crew, spot operators, board operators, and, oh yeah, actors, a Broadway musical costs at least $10 Million to produce, usually more.

Astronomical! not for amateurs with some exceptions of very marginally-propped works such as the Man of La Mancha which used very little exterior stagecraft.

Where can you find a musical locket?

You can't get the locket that would be musical, that's a made up Disney prop. There are mini musical movements, but to produce such an item would cost a lot of money. A standard movement is just too big to fit in something so small. However, we are thinking of making a standard musical movement with the tune (we can do that & pay a copyright on just the music) that would go into a standard inlaid wooden box.
