it depends on what job they are in

the average monthly netto income per person is about € 1500 (according to destatis.de, website of the German federal statistics department), the range is from € 0 to over a billion.

examples (per month):

a nurse earns ca € 1400

a professor (tenure) ca. € 3000 - € 10000

a teacher ca. € 2000 - € 4000

a student jobbing 20 hrs / week at a burger-franchise: € 500
