It varies on the time of travel and how far you book in advance. Expect to pay around £50 return for 1 adult, however you can get a substantially cheaper fare if you book between 10-12 weeks in advance.

The fare is variable, depending on many factors such as what time of day you travel, peak times are more expensive than off peak, first class travel is more expensive than standard class, if you bought your tickets in advance you generally get a large discount, buying your ticket on the day of travel can be expensive.

A quick search on one of many on line ticket retailers gives a price range of £159 first class single (one way only) journey and £44.50 standard single journey.
