The best way to learn the answer is to go to the airline's website and see what they say. Generally for domestic flights most airlines allow 2 carry-on pieces. One personal luggage piece such as a computer and one that must either fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you. You are also generally allowed 2 pieces of checked luggage - left with the baggage handlers to be stowed in the lower section of the plane.
