How much money can you earn working at a diner?

Working at a diner you will probably be paid a wage that is below minimum wage. The real money comes from tips. The more tables you work, the more cheerful you are, the better looking you are, the more you can get people to spend more (up sell), the better your tips will be. As diners don't usually sell too much liquor, the total bills of partrons will be lower and therefore your tips (percentage). Actual numbers? I regularly did 15 to 18 dollars an hour. For greatest wages try to get shifts that don't have non-tip time like closing and opening.
