Though I do not know if Wood was payed this same amount, I assume that it was at least $250,000 (as Wood's role of Frodo Baggins was the chief role of the trilogy.) Also, the primary actors of the movies received substantial bonuses as a result of the success of the movies, though this amount has not been disclosed.
