Salaries for professional golfers vary widely based on the number of tournaments they enter and win and the number of endorsements/sponsors they have. Tiger Woods, the highes…t paid athlete in the world, earned $110 million from 2008 to 2009 from both tournament earnings and sponsorships.
enoungh for him to make with golf
tiger woods got 2 billion just to go to austrila so i say about $100.000 a hole
Depends on how he/she finishes in tournaments. If you get above the "cut" line, you earn money.
10% of whatever the PGA player earns at the end of each tournament
There is a wide range, from several thousand to several million dollars annually.
The average golfer in the PGA can expect to earn $2 million fromendorsements each year. Golfers such as Tiger Woods and RoryMcIlroy make much more.
For the 2007 season, Lorena Ochoa was the leading money winner on the LPGA tour at $4,364,994. Suzann Pettersen was second at $1,802,400 and Paula Creamer was third at $1,384,…798. Seven women made over one million dollars in the 2007 season. 29 women made over $500,000 in the 2007 season. The 50th ranked player, Mhairi McKay made $265,076. The 100th ranked player, Johanna Head, made $74,220.
Golfers can earn millions of money. But it also depends how good they are Tiger Woods, etc, earn the most amount of money as golfers and pro golfers earn lots more than footba…llers and it is to known that pro golfers earn the most money in sport in the world
It is purely performance related, it depends on how well they finish in tournaments, how much they make in special appearances such as skins games and corporate outings. They …will also get large sponsorship deals. The best players on the PGA tour would earn $5 million a year for tournaments alone with ease.
Tiger Woods earns tens of millions of dollars per year.. If anybody earns at least $1 in a golf bet, he/she could be considered "professional".. Therefore, the answer is $1-…$millions
\nI believe the golfers don't get paid when they do not make the cut..
It all depends who you are, what tour you play on, what you win and the endorsements you attract. Consider Tiger Woods, in 2008 he earned $110 million from playing and endorse…ments. Players like Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson would make tens of millions a year in endorsements alone and on course earnings would reach around $10 million. A PGA Tour win is worth around $1 million. For missing the cut in some events it could pay around $10,000-30,000. A smaller tour like the Canadian tour has smaller purses and the endorsements are a lot smaller as the players are a lot less well known.
Depends how good they are. The lower end would be around a couple of hundred thousand dollars. The average for a good player would be about $5 million and a top player like Ti…ger Woods $10-12 million. That is on course earnings alone, endorsements and sponsorships for Tiger Woods are around $100 million.
Pro dic golfers can earn anywhere from $100-$55,000 maybe more but its a humble amount and not anyways about the money.
In PGA Tour
