It depends on which size city you're looking at. If you're looking at large cities that broadcast nationally like New York and Los Angeles, probably over $120,000. If youre looking at a mid-size city like San Francisco or Boston, probably $80,000-100,000. If youre looking at a small city no one has heard about like Corn, Kansas (just pretend) then probably $50,000.

Salaries at radio stations will depend on the market they serve. A small religious station in west Texas probably doesn't pay anywhere near as much as a popular music station in New York, NY. Student announcers on stations only heard on a college campus, for example, are unpaid volunteers, not paid employees.
