What where rendezous and what happened to them?

The Buick Rendezvous is a SUV crossover. It was designed to be a luxury mini SUV based on the sedan. The Cadillac SRX is a perfect example of what Buick was going for. What happened to them? Basically, NO ONE WANTED THEM. Why? WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! A well equipped Rendezvous could run as high as $35,000+ You can find a VERY clean VERY good condition low miles, used Rendezvous at CarMax for around $19,000. Same price for the same in a Cadillac SRX. Most of the Rendezvous I have seen are the CX which is the striped down model. The only good one to have would be a 2007 CLX with NAV and HUD, leather, heated seats..well every option available. The cheeper CX is a piece of JUNK. The Rendezvous was replaced by the much more upscale Enclave in 2008. AGAIN, VERY overpriced. No wonder GM is going under. I can't help but to say that the opposite is true in China where owning a Buick is the equivalent to owning a Rolls here in the US.
