(I currently use a fender strat with a floyd and humbuckers) i need a good metal second guitar with a similar feel to a fender strat

The Fender Strat Plus used Lace Sensor pickups in 1995.

There are many different types of fender guitars. One is the Fender Stratocaster. The fender Strat. is what some people call the universal guitar. People call the Strat this because if you look at any type of music (jazz, rock, blues, funk, country) you will find at least one artest that plays a fender strat. I own an American Fender Stratocaster Deluxe and I love it. If you are a rock fan, then go with the Telecaster which was made to play rock music. Fender also makes acoustic guitars but they are not the best quality I think. If you are looking for an acoustic guitar then look at Ibanez. They make a good acoustic guitar. I hope that this helps. If you have any other questions about guitars, I would suggest looking in the fourms of this website. This is the best website for all your guitar needs.

A fat strat refers to a strat that has a humbucker pickup, which pretty much looks like two single coils smushed together on a guitar

No "FENDER STRAT" is not going to have a logo unless you get one custom made.

Is it a recreation or the authentic 1969 strat?

Definitely a Vintage, or a limited model

that would be a 1988 strat the e stands for eighty and the nuber after it stands for the year

For an American made fender standard stratocaster, you're looking at about $1,500.

The worth of a 1984 Fender Strat guitar can vary because of many factors. The condition in which the guitar is in is the most important. Any wear can diminish the worth. See an appraiser for an estimate.

The steryotype of an electric guitar is a fender strat. The most famous and used guitar in the world. MILLION OF PEOPLE USE FENDER!!!

Yes the fender guitars have great quality, as long as you buy one made in the USA or Mexico. China and Japan make fender squire guitars but they are cheaply made and don't last as long. If you are looking at buying a fender guitar then look at a Mexican or American stratocaster. That is one of the best guitars that fender makes and the best places they make them. The Mexican strat. will last you about 3 to 5 years and the USA strat. about your whole life. Hope that helps. I agree, definitely go for a strat

The Telecaster guitar is made by Fender. It is normally known as a 'fender tele'. Fender also make the well known 'stratiocaster' guitar, coloquially known as the 'fender strat'

The problem with asking what the average cost of a Strat is that there are so many different kinds. We have a "Mexican Standard Strat" "US Standard Strat" "The VG Strat" "Custom Strats" "Road Worn Strat" and various "Signature Strats" There are even some more but those ones are what I can think of right now. For most of those they have "Deluxe" models as well which means a shiny pickguard and possibly something about the pickups. The "American Standard Strat" runs $1339.99 at (as of Spring 2009) The "Road Worn" you can find for $949.99 at (also as of Spring 2009) I don't know that they make Mexican Strats anymore but if you find a used one all the better, they are very cheep and have the same parts, same company, different workforce making them. Squire is a company by Fender that makes Stratocasters for a lot cheaper... generally they're not looked on as, as good as Fender, but much cheeper.

This depends on the model. If we were to compare a fender strat to a fender p bass, the strat is 25.5", the bass is 34". There's an 8.5" difference. +++ The questioner wanted the answer in centimetres! It is 21.6cms (216mm).

'Strat' as per the Oxford English Dictionary is an abreviation of the word Stratocaster. This refers to the popular brand of electric guitar manufactured and sold by Fender.
