The only thing made by the U.S. Mint in 1952 George Washington on it is the quarter. You may have been thinking of the Booker T. Washington / George W. Carver Commemorative Half Dollar, but that's not George Washington on the front, and there's no Liberty on the reverse. So I have to believe you have something that was not made at the U.S. Mint. Please provide more information in this question's discussion area, providing as detailed a description of what's on each side as you can.
Yes, like all half dollars minted before 1965, the Booker T Washington half dollar is 90% silver.
He never chopped down a cherry tree, he never threw a silver dollar accross the Potomac and he never did anything else that was photographed because the art of photography had not been invented in his day. Actually, the question has no answer. Who is Washington? Or rather which Washington? W. Carver, Booker T. W to name a few.
There's no such coin. If you have a Franklin half with a liberty bell on the back it's worth about $6-7 for its silver content. If you have a Washington Carver commemorative half dollar it's worth $8-12.
$10.00 if they are not silver, about $100.00 of they are silver.
George Washington had a white horse named Nelson. George Washington also had 5 other white horses. His favorite horse was named Silver
