Federal prison time of up to 10 years and a large fine
Up to 10 years federal prison time and a large fine.
100 - 200 US dollars
A sawed off shotgun is illegal depending on how much of it is cut off. It is illegal to own one less than 18 inches for the barrel or 28 inches for the gun.
Depends on how much of the barrel is sawed off.
Something in the range of 10 years and $10,000 fine if not properly documented. Acceptable licensing would include its classification as an "AOW" (Any Other Weapon) by the BATFE with the appropriate (and inexpensive) tax stamp. After that, if you have a defaced mossberg shotgun, its worth less than a pretty one.
There is no jail time as long as when you saw it off, you maintain at least 18 inches of the barrel and an overall length of 26 inches. Anything less than these lengths is a felony offense and the "jail time" differs with the offense & whether it is prosecuted by the state or the feds.
If 1/3 of a 12-foot board is sawed off, how much is left?
It all depends on condition and how much someone is willing to pay for it. It all depends on condition and how much someone is willing to pay for it.
Like anything, it is worth what someone is willing to pay. I am in the market for a black powder shotgun. If you are interested in selling, please email me provident777@yahoo.com.
The answer is always "it;s worth what someone will give yo for it."
first you find the most attractive shotgun you can find then you want to go out with it... much like the ladies.....
Whatever someone will pay. Pretty much decorative wall art.
