The Screen Actors Guild, a labor union for actors, sets minimum payment rates for commercials. Depending on whether or not the actor is a principal in the commercial, they could earn from $600 to $1,700 per day. The rate will increase significantly with each airing of the commercial and if it goes national.

It all really depends of how much higher acting expierence or class your in. Movies it's about more than 20 million dollars and commercials or tv shows a little over than 80000 dollars. This is just the professional level.

I do this for a living... If you can film at least 5 or 6 nationals a year, you'd likely gross almost six figures. If you can do around 10... It's easily 150k+. But most actors do 3 or so and supplement income.
